So here’s a life update, you may have been filled in a bit from previous posts, but here’s the summary:
Computer boomed last week, new 8 week semester started last week, new web redesign at work goes live in a week or so, and moving out in 2 weeks.
Needless to say, it’s been hectic and only looks to get more crazy! For some, a PC crash isn’t a big deal, for others like myself, it’s a HUGE deal as my professional career, graduate degree’s, & personal life all revolve around being connected (I probably should try and disconnect a bit during personal time actually) but I spent countless hours rebuilding my machine. I’m still in the process actually, converted from Vista to Ubuntu 8.10 and I’m trying to get all the apps I need and want ready. With the new 8 week semester (my last one!), I need a computer for a lot of homework, so the urge to get up and running is a must. Work’s been crazy with the redesign of the RMU website. And on a side note, in 3-4 years working here, this is the 4th redesign we’ve done, that’s not good, but who am I….I only know a thing or 2 about the web. Anyways, I haven’t had a normal lunch schedule in 3+ weeks. I’ve ate as early as 11am and as late as 3:30pm, averaging about 2pm most of the time. Ohhh yes, and how could 1 forget, I’m moving home in 2 weeks! Living the Dream I tell ya, Living the Dream! My goal is to also pack up everything 1 man can carry himself this weekend and the following weekend have a friend help me with all the big stuff.
Will it every slow down? Probably not, but I like to have some manipulation in what’s going on around me, so I’ll act as if it will.
